Impressive New Nail Designs for 2013 - After waiting 15 min for a wax I was informed they do the wax in the main room where everyone gets their nails done and you can be seen from the street. Uh...yeah...no thanks. I really like Susan and Kim. But my most recent visits have been kind of unspectacular because I keep getting some older lady who wears glasses. Last week she filled my nails unevenly, cut my cuticle too short and i started bleeding and when she painted my finger nails; she missed a lot of spots on the sides and the polish looked really messy. Not nice and smooth. I'll try it once more, but that lady needs to practice more and take her damn time !
I couldn't praise this salon enough, I leave here satisfied every time. I've been around the (gel-manicure) block a couple of times among the technicians here and they're all really great. However, I LOVVVE KIM! She is so genial and sweet when it comes to her personality and a perfectionist when it comes to her work. In short: she rocks. I would recommend calling beforehand even if it's on short notice. Although they do accept walk-ins, you never know when the waiting area will fill up since it only consists of two chairs (usually occupied by served customers drying their nails). Salon is always clean and tidy unlike so many of the salons nearby. Always willing to fit me in even at the last minute and they always do a great job. Sometimes scheduling can be hard at busy times but that is just because they are good at what they do.
