Brilliant Crazy Nail Art Designs - Nice salon and the ladies seemed friendly the first couple times I went. Good colors. The better salon in GP is Sunshine Nails but they are closed on Tuesday's now and I needed a mani-pedi that day. The women were not as friendly and seemed to be rushing. My polish peeled off in a couple days, and like another reviewer said, they seemed to be mocking (in Vietnamese) something I said. I could be wrong but it was not comfortable. I won't be going back. I came in here without an appointment, but they were able to accommodate. It seems to be the kind of place that has its neighborhood regulars. A mani/pedi is $25. My finger nails chip quickly, and it's not something that changes depending on where I go, so for $25, that's fine. I look great for my event, and then slowly the polish chips away.
They prefer that you tip in cash and are pretty open about just letting you walk out to an ATM nearby to grab some cash. I have been coming here for about 6 months now and is an addict! I found the perfect place to get my nails done. One time I cheated by going to another nail salon and like any guilty cheater, it was not worth it! The women here are extremely nice and sweet. They ALWAYS squeeze me in. It is fun to come in because they know I'm Vietnamese so they really help me freshen up on my Vietnamese language. Hahah Makes me feel like home.
Staff- Though it's a small shop, they are busy and people love their services. The owner is a great at running her business and employees. Every shop I have ever gone to, I've always felt the jealousy and tension but they are very cohesive here at Glen Park Nails. Service- I get the gel manicure and pedicure. By far, the Gel Manicure is the best in town or country! The gel stays very well on my nails and it looks amazing until the day I come in to get a freshener! :) as for the pedicure, I would enjoy a longer massage but that's ok because it's more important to clean my toes and get off the chair for the next client. I'll have my masseuse lady take care of me later. For a gel mani and pedi is about $42 and that's cheap for SF!
